Consortium for the innovation of firms and Public Administration Management (MIP)

MIP was born out of the partnership between the University Politecnico di Milano, the first technology institution in Italy, and some of the most important Italian and international multinationals. Its MBA programme, taught both in Italian and English, was rated top MBA in Italy in terms of student quality and offers students real business-world experience.

Within MIP, the School of Management for the University, Research Organisations and Scholastic Institutions (SUM – www.mip.polimi.it/sum) was founded in 2002: its mission is to promote training and applied research initiatives on scholastic, university and research management themes in collaboration with the Department of Managerial Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, with the objective of offering knowledge and competence, analysis methodologies and operative instruments in order to be active participants in the renewal process of universities, public research organisations and scholastic institutions, in confrontation with the best international experience.
