Association of Heads of University Administration (AHUA)
AHUA is the representative body for senior university managers in the UK; typically it represents Registrars or Pro-Vice Chancellors with responsibility for a range of managerial and legal issues within their institutions.
The association provides opportunities for members to develop skills and best practice in the leadership, management and governance of Higher Education institutions by offering conferences, regional meetings, seminars and an e-mail discussion list. AHUA also represents members' opinions to a variety of official bodies including the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS), Universities UK and the funding councils.
