EUPRIO (European Universities Public Relations and Information Officers) is a non-profit association established in Brussels on 12th May 1986 with the support of officials from the European Community (now European Union), and legally set up with its own charter in June 2009, with a registered office c/o Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium).

It is the leading organisation for university communications professionals in Europe, with some 500 members from 20 different European countries. It plays a vital role in helping to shape higher education in Europe, in developing the communications function in universities, and in promoting understanding and collaboration between universities across the continent.
