Santander Group European Universities Network (SG)

The Santander Group is a European Universities Network comprising almost 40 members from 16 European countries that cooperate closely to strengthen their individual potential as they strive for excellence in university governance, learning and research.

The group aims at establishing special academic, cultural and socio-economic ties and at setting up specific and advanced facilities as well as privileged channels of information and exchange for member universities (academic and administrative staff exchange programmes, student mobility, student international traineeship, international projects. 

The Group was also created to encourage contacts between universities and their surrounding communities or regions on matters related to social and technological development.
