Founded in 1973 as non-profit organisation, SEFI is the largest network of higher engineering institutions and of individuals involved in engineering education in Europe.

SEFI’s mission is to contribute to the development and the improvement of the engineering education in Europe as well as to the improvement of the position of both engineering education in society in general and of the engineering professionals in particular.

SEFI achieves its mission through a series of activities: specific themes working groups, seminars, annual conferences, scientific publications, consultancy and specific actions for Deans in HEE.
