5.03 ERASMUS networks: create a community in your field of expertise
Friday 18 September 08.30–10.00
ERASMUS networks are communities of universities working in the same field. They are ‘think tanks’ on the future of higher education in a given discipline (eg history or music) or theme (eg lifelong learning or university management). Some networks are very influential and set the standards in matters such as curricular development, quality enhancement and innovation, whilst others are less well-known. Coordinators from two very successful networks will share their good and bad experiences with participants, in the hope that they will feel inspired to join a network or make an application for grant support in early 2010 .
